Project management

Projects are at the core of Adcompro. Learn how to efficiently manage projects with milestones, tasks and budget tracking.

Creating a project

Go to Projects and click New project. Fill in the following details:

  • Project name — A clear, descriptive name
  • Client — Link the project to an existing client
  • Status — Active, on-hold, or completed
  • Budget — Optional total budget for the project

Milestones

Milestones divide your project into manageable phases. Each milestone has:

  • Name and description — What needs to be delivered?
  • Pricing model — Fixed price or hourly rate
  • Fee type — Included in project price or billed separately
  • Start and end date — Planning and deadlines

Tasks

Within each milestone, you can create tasks for specific work items:

  • Tasks inherit the pricing model from their milestone
  • Assign tasks to specific team members
  • Track progress per task

Budget tracking

Adcompro automatically calculates the consumed budget based on logged hours and rates. You see in real-time:

  • Total spent vs. budget per milestone
  • Percentage progress
  • Expected overrun (if applicable)

Recurring projects

With the Recurring Projects plugin, you can set up recurring projects that are automatically created based on a schedule (monthly, quarterly, etc.).
